In its debut appearance, Smartlog Group introduces its catalog of technologies and services at the Logistics & Automation fair taking place on November 29 and 30 at IFEMA, Madrid.

In Hall 7, at booth 7B18, and under the slogan “We unite technologies to be your solution“, we showcase the innovative technologies of autonomous mobile robotics, as well as advanced data monitoring and exploitation technology. Logistics & Automation is a renowned international fair in the field of intralogistics technology. Over November 29-30, it will become the meeting point for the logistics sector in Spain.

The logistics sector is going through a unique period in its existence, due to the irruption of a series of technologies, each one more disruptive than the last. Adapting to all of them and at the same time looking for the sustainability of processes and focusing on the well-being of people is the real challenge of logistics 5.0, which follows the precepts set by the European Commission in its concept of Industry 5.0, where machines and their interaction with humans will be the central element of production processes.

At the fair booth, we will present mobile robotics solutions such as AutoStore, Smartsorter, and SmartAMR, as well as our own data monitoring and exploitation technology. These solutions offer availability levels close to 100%, flexibility and scalability, and improve efficiency and productivity while optimizing storage density.

It is a robotic system for storage and order picking based on cubes, allowing optimal and fast storage and management of picking tasks. The entire inventory is stored in plastic bins, stacked in a compact grid system, without any space or metal barrier between them. Robots can retrieve bins from lower levels using lifting hooks, and bins returning from exit points are strategically placed at the highest level. If one robot malfunctions, the system can continue to operate at full capacity and have access to all materials.

AutoStore robots always anticipate the next wave of orders, ensuring their availability for operators. Even in the worst-case scenario, when a requested bin is at the furthest point and at the bottom of the stack of bins in the corner of the grid containing the ports, retrieving it would take approximately three and a half minutes. This time is less than what would be required to walk to the furthest shelf in a traditional warehouse.

It is an innovative robotic sorting system for accurately sorting small and medium-sized items. It is a solution composed of small robots that move on a platform and automatically classify products. Later, these products are deposited in a small 3D station that places the products in different boxes, completing orders.
