Smartlog Group presents its catalogo of technologies and services at Logistics & Automation
In its debut appearance, Smartlog Group introduces its catalog of technologies and services at the Logistics & Automation fair taking place on November 29 and 30 at IFEMA, Madrid.
In Hall 7, at booth 7B18, and under the slogan “We unite technologies to be your solution“, we showcase the innovative technologies of autonomous mobile robotics, as well as advanced data monitoring and exploitation technology. Logistics & Automation is a renowned international fair in the field of intralogistics technology. Over November 29-30, it will become the meeting point for the logistics sector in Spain.
The logistics sector is going through a unique period in its existence, due to the irruption of a series of technologies, each one more disruptive than the last. Adapting to all of them and at the same time looking for the sustainability of processes and focusing on the well-being of people is the real challenge of logistics 5.0, which follows the precepts set by the European Commission in its concept of Industry 5.0, where machines and their interaction with humans will be the central element of production processes.
In this context, at Smartlog, we not only combine technologies, but we also include sustainability and well-being principles in our vision and purpose, placing people – from employees, customers, users, collaborators, to social actors – at the center of our strategy.
Committed to the environment, we also seek to reduce environmental impact and optimize resources through process efficiency and energy management.
We unite technologies to be your solution
We are an independent intralogistics engineering firm with extensive knowledge in logistics, specializing in the design and implementation of intelligent and advanced solutions. Our approach is based on combining various technologies to offer our clients unique and personalized solutions based on data and their specific needs. Our multi-brand solutions result from a detailed study of the data and needs of each client, with a global and future-oriented vision. This is made possible through constant technological surveillance and agreements with the best international partners, allowing us to meet the changing needs of the market.
The technological heart of Smartlog lies in its software and data exploitation technology, acting as the brain of the supply chain. We combine solutions from mobile robotics, IIoT, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, generating models to propose improvements, schedule maintenance, adapt behaviors in real time, and predict future scenarios.
We cater to a wide range of sectors, from industrial manufacturing to healthcare, retail, food, and electronics. Our collaboration between people and technology enables a more satisfying consumer experience and a higher quality of service.
Mobile robotics and data exploitation technology
At the fair booth, we will present mobile robotics solutions such as AutoStore, Smartsorter, and SmartAMR, as well as our own data monitoring and exploitation technology. These solutions offer availability levels close to 100%, flexibility and scalability, and improve efficiency and productivity while optimizing storage density.
Smartlog, the largest AutoStore implementer in Spain of AutoStore - AutoStore
It is a robotic system for storage and order picking based on cubes, allowing optimal and fast storage and management of picking tasks. The entire inventory is stored in plastic bins, stacked in a compact grid system, without any space or metal barrier between them. Robots can retrieve bins from lower levels using lifting hooks, and bins returning from exit points are strategically placed at the highest level. If one robot malfunctions, the system can continue to operate at full capacity and have access to all materials.
AutoStore robots always anticipate the next wave of orders, ensuring their availability for operators. Even in the worst-case scenario, when a requested bin is at the furthest point and at the bottom of the stack of bins in the corner of the grid containing the ports, retrieving it would take approximately three and a half minutes. This time is less than what would be required to walk to the furthest shelf in a traditional warehouse.
- It is the world’s fastest and densest system per square meter.
- Multiplies storage capacity by up to 400%.
- Availability rate of 99.7%.
- Improves productivity by up to 2.5 times.
- Completely flexible, modular, and scalable.
- Sustainable and energy-efficient (10 robots consume the same energy as a vacuum cleaner).
- Reduction of human errors and operating costs.
It is an innovative robotic sorting system for accurately sorting small and medium-sized items. It is a solution composed of small robots that move on a platform and automatically classify products. Later, these products are deposited in a small 3D station that places the products in different boxes, completing orders. It can handle large volumes of merchandise, making it ideal for e-commerce and reverse logistics companies. This system provides greater efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility, allowing cost reduction in sorting, labor, and space. Its quick installation and return on investment make it an attractive solution for a multitude of sectors.
Its modular design provides the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, facilitating easy, agile, and phased expansion. During periods of high demand, it is possible to increase capacity without the need to expand physical space. Simply adding robots or increasing the number of sorting tables as needed is sufficient. It requires only 5 minutes of training, allowing staff to integrate into the operation immediately.
- 2 to 5 times more effective than traditional methods.
- Multiple configurations and levels.
- More than 30,000 items/hour.
- Rapid implementation (even less than 1 month).
- Sustainable, reduces carbon footprint, and promotes ergonomics.
- Versatile (Small, medium, irregular products…).
- Extremely fast ROI.
- 99.9% accuracy and availability close to 100%.
The SmartAMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) is designed to operate autonomously in logistics centers, warehouses, and similar places. They are equipped with sensors, navigation systems, and decision-making capabilities that allow them to move independently and autonomously.
The SmartAMR is used in various applications, where they can efficiently transport goods from one place to another. Its main advantage is its ability to adapt to changing environments and perform repetitive tasks efficiently, which can increase productivity and reduce operating costs in various industries. These robots can be programmed or configured to perform a wide range of functions, making them a versatile tool for process automation in different environments.
- Highly optimized design and optimal performance.
- Safe and reliable.
- Adaptable to multiple environments.
- Modular structure and flexible extension. Can incorporate supports for various sets.
- Fast learning and implementation.
- High environmental tolerance, suitable for cold storage.
Galys, Smartlog Group's logistics software suite
Smartlog offers a supply chain management software suite that adds intelligence to logistics processes, turning it into the brain of the process.
Galys integrates all assets and systems of any company and combines data monitoring and exploitation technology with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, and Big Data. The system learns from the operation of all assets and automated processes, generating models to propose improvements, schedule maintenance, adapt behaviors in real time, recommend new configurations, and predict new scenarios.
This is our commitment: combining mobile robotics solutions based on data with this data exploitation technology. This allows for a much broader view of logistics activity over time and enables proactive decision-making.
