Aliauto will automate the operation of its new warehouse in Alcalá de Guadaira, Seville

Aliauto, a leading company in spare parts for industrial vehicles and hydraulics, has taken a decisive step towards logistics innovation by signing a collaboration agreement with Smartlog to create a new advanced and intelligent warehouse. The aim is to automate the logistics processes at its new headquarters in Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville) using cutting-edge robotic technology.
The agreement includes a comprehensive solution that combines the AutoStore system, two Smartlift vertical storage systems and the advanced warehouse management suite, Galys, developed by Smartlog.
The core of the installation will be the AutoStore system, which will enable high-density storage and “Good to person” order picking for small product. It will have a capacity of 12,200 bins managed by 7 robots, three carousel-type picking stations, one of which will provide direct service to the shop counter, maximising efficiency in customer service. It will also include two conveyor-type entry stations to speed up the replenishment process.
The two Smartlift systems will complement the main storage, optimising space and operational efficiency for parts of different sizes. The entire assembly will be managed by the Galys Auto and Galys WIS software suite, guaranteeing perfect orchestration and precise control of all logistics processes, both automated and manual, ensuring smooth coordination and real-time monitoring of all warehouse operations.
With this new solution, Aliauto will be able to manage its product catalogue in an agile and precise way, optimising each logistics process to adapt to growing demands. The incorporation of these three technologies will improve working conditions and ensure a smooth and efficient operation, reducing errors and speeding up order preparation. This solution maximises space utilisation, enables adaptive scalability and promotes sustainable operations.
