Logistics challenges
Aliauto is expanding their facilities in Alcalá de Guadaira, adding a new 10,000 m² logistics warehouse equipped with cutting-edge technology to face future challenges with an infrastructure adapted to change and expansion. The aim is to create a new advanced and intelligent warehouse and manage its product catalogue in an agile and precise way, optimising each logistics process to adapt to growing demands.
Solution
The agreement includes a comprehensive solution that combines the AutoStore system, two Smartlift vertical storage systems and the advanced warehouse management suite, Galys, developed by Smartlog.
The core of the installation will be the AutoStore system, which will enable high-density storage and “Good to person” order picking for small product.
The two Smartlift systems will complement the main storage, optimising space and operational efficiency for parts of different sizes. The entire assembly will be managed by the Galys Auto and Galys WIS software suite, guaranteeing perfect orchestration and precise control of all logistics processes, both automated and manual, ensuring smooth coordination and real-time monitoring of all warehouse operations.
