Logistical challenges
SELENE moves its order preparation warehouse to its new warehouse in Egüés (Navarra). It needs to optimise efficiency and precision in its internal logistics, in order to continue to meet the demands of the intimate apparel market with maximum effectiveness, and to prepare SELENE for the future.
Solution
Smartlog’s AutoStore robotic storage and order picking system is fully customised to its current need to process 60 orders per day, optimising the picking of single and two-unit lines, with the flexibility to scale for future growth.
In addition to this customised and scalable system, the solution includes Galys warehouse management software as well as maintenance.
It will be fully operational by the end of 2024 and will set a milestone by increasing efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
