Smartlog strengthens its commitment to the Middle East at Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo 2026
Smartlog will be present in Riyadh with a live AutoStore, a Hala Chat session and a signing ceremony with a major regional client
Smartlog will take part in Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo, held from 8 to 10 September at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center. At this edition, the company will showcase AutoStore in live and share the experience it has built supporting warehouse automation projects across the Middle East.
Smartlog has been active in MEA since 2021 and has already delivered more than ten projects in the region. The company provides local support, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to accompany companies across the Middle East as their operations evolve.
That regional footprint includes projects with companies such as Tamer Group, EPx Logistics and Saud Bahwan, as well as leading cosmetics retailers in the region. Across these installations, automation has delivered significant productivity gains, a marked reduction in picking and inventory errors, better use of available space or greater flexibility to absorb seasonal and promotional demand peaks.
Two key moments during the exhibition
On 8 September, the first day of the exhibition, Smartlog will hold a signing ceremony at 18:30 at stand 1B170 with a major client from the Middle East. The event will bring together representatives from both companies and will be one of the main milestones of Smartlog’s participation in Riyadh. The company invites media and industry professionals attending the exhibition to join the occasion.
On 9 September, Smartlog will take part in the Hala Chat space alongside EPx Logistics, a Smartlog actual client. Under the title “Automation: The Pulse of Logistics”, Tarek Wagdy, CEO of EPX Logistics, and Youssif Salameh, Smartlog’s Area Manager MEA, will discuss the role of automation in improving the agility, efficiency and growth capacity of logistics operations across the region.
AutoStore live on the stand
Visitors will be able to see how AutoStore works, a robotic storage and order fulfilment system based on bins. Robots move on top of a high-density grid to retrieve inventory and bring it directly to workstations. This goods-to-person model reduces walking, speeds up picking and improves productivity.
Its design multiplies storage capacity by up to 400% compared with conventional systems, and its modular architecture also allows capacity to be expanded by adding robots or bins without interrupting operations.
A tenth anniversary year
The exhibition takes place in a particularly significant year for Smartlog, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Since 2016, the Group has evolved from a company founded by two partners into an international integrator with a presence in 18 countries, more than 200 completed projects and more than 280 professionals.
Throughout this year, Smartlog is celebrating a decade of growth alongside customers, partners and collaborators. Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo will be a further opportunity to share that journey and continue developing automation projects across the Middle East.
An intralogistics partner for the Middle East
Smartlog acts as an Intelligent Integrator, bringing together the technologies best suited to each operation. More broadly, Smartlog designs and delivers intralogistics solutions that can combine mobile robotics, storage and order fulfilment systems, sorting technologies and pallet management solutions, according to the operational needs of each business.
Each project begins with an analysis of the sector, volumes and inventory rotation, load type, available space and required service level. Galys, Smartlog’s own software suite, connects the systems, manages processes and provides real-time visibility across the operation.
Smartlog supports customers through consultancy, design, implementation, 24/7 support, cybersecurity and technology renewal services. This long-term approach ensures that each installation can evolve with the business throughout its working life.
