Logistics challenges
The company needed more space and greater speed to manage its high-turnover SKUs. The warehouse had reached its limit, and day-to-day operations required a solution that didn’t involve expanding the building.
Solution
The answer was Smartpallet, an automated pallet storage and picking system. It manages 96 high-turnover SKUs end-to-end through robotic technology that combines automated storage and order preparation in a single system. Smartpallet integrates the Galys logistics software, connected to Unide’s system, enabling coordinated inbounds, replenishments, and outbounds, with full traceability and dynamic stock control in an environment marked by demand peaks.
The results are clear: 1,200 additional pallet positions compared to the previous compact system and a 30% productivity increase. All of it handled by robots moving up to 4,500 pallets smoothly.
