Logistical challenges
Vicarli was faced with the need to redesign its operations to cope with the growth of the business. The increase in the volume of orders from its customers required greater storage capacity and more agile and efficient processes, without compromising the quality of service.
The use of available space had to be optimized to the maximum to increase storage density without the need to expand the facilities. At the same time, they needed to considerably reduce order preparation times and minimize shipping errors to ensure fast and accurate deliveries.
In addition, the system had to be flexible and scalable enough to accommodate future expansion without disrupting daily operations. All this had to be achieved with a sustainable approach, optimizing energy consumption and reducing operating costs, key factors for maintaining profitability and competitiveness in an increasingly demanding market.

The AutoStore designed for Vicarli has a capacity for 11,000 bins 220 mm high, optimized with internal divisions to efficiently manage small spare parts.
